Librarians and library staff are stationed at the Research Assistance Desk to help you with your research and in using the library. Librarians are happy to help you understand how the libraries are organized, recommend reference sources such as encyclopedias or handbooks, figure out problem citations and recommend the best information sources for your project or question.

The Information Commons, located on the third floor of Library West, offers a total of 130 workstations for students to use. Computers in the Digital Media Center allow web design and audio/video creation and editing.

A limited number of laptop computers are also available for check out from the second floor circulation desk. Wireless Internet access for laptop computers and other mobile devices is available throughout Library West.

Library student assistants are stationed at this desk to assist you with computer problems.
