Depending upon whether you require historical, chronological or current information, ask yourself these questions:
- What is the copyright date of the book?
- What is the publication date of a journal?
- Are there dead links on the Web site? What is the creation and revision date?
- What is the time span covered by the document (is it current or historical)?
- Do you need primary or secondary sources?
